The Future of Agriculture
- Beschreibung
This project envisions a next-generation agricultural system that eliminates chemical-synthetic pesticides while maintaining high crop yields through the careful and responsible use of mineral fertilizers (NOcsPS project). By reducing reliance on harmful pesticides, it addresses environmental challenges such as biodiversity loss and chemical residues in food and ecosystems, contributing directly to the objectives of the EU Green Deal and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
This project is a great opportunity for students to explore how non microbial and microbial bio-stimulants can make plants grow stronger and healthier while reducing the need for chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
You will acquire lab skills, gain insights into this important topic, and explore interdisciplinary connections between plant nutrition and plant protection.
You can then present your findings and work at the Humboldt reload conference.
I look forward to discussing the project with you in more detail.
